In October 2001, I visited the mTShur phu dgon Monastery. This is the home of the Seventeenth Karmapa. The Karmapa was in India studying, so I didn't get to met him this trip. I enjoyed meditating here, while the monks were chanting. It was a day trip in the Land Cruiser from Lhasa.
