Sacred rocks at Nam Tso Lake. The rocks have sacred inscriptions that the monks and nuns have carved into them. There are thousands of these rocks around the caves.

The nuns and monks that live in the cave shrine spent most of their daytime hours chisleling the texts of the stones.
