The band is Cibo Matto. Cibo Matto embarked on one of the most ground breaking concert tours of 1999. Yuka Honda and Miho, along with the other Cibo Matto band members have taken music to yet ever greater heights in their recent performances. They rose from their noise fusion roots, to create one of the top albums of 1996, "Viva! La Woman", and now in support of their latest LP "Stereotype A", they are showed their fans some of the last great concert moments of this Millennium. |

Yuka Honda and Miho have teamed up with the heavy power of Sean Lennon's Bass Guitar, the extraordinary drummer and singer, Timo Ellis, and the percussion and rap vocals of Duma Love, to make Cibo Matto one of the most talented bands in the world today. Playing live music as a band, Cibo Matto demonstrates how music doesn't have to be one way or another. Various styles can all be merged into one concept using familiar modals that are normally disparate in nature. In Cibo Matto's music, ancient musical patterns are merged with the latest concepts of today's cultures and technology. To put it more simply, "The shows kick ass..." |
