There
is a brief overview of Yoshimi's musical career from playing
with the Boredoms to her work with OOIOO. The album she made
with Yuka Honda is also mentioned in the article.

Lennon and Yuka Honda
Acoustic trio with Harper Simon.
The band played December 5, 2004 at the Tonic in New York City.
Sean was on guitar, Yuka played piano, and Harper Simon played guitar
(both electric and acoustic). Vocals were provided by Sean with Harper
singing back-up. The set included a special guest playing tabla, named,
Suphala. Later in the show, Sean played solo piano and sang,
followed by a number with just his voice and his guitar.

Honda was in Japan for the summer of 2003. She played some shows with
ooioo.
The shows came on the heals of ooioo's
latest album! Yuka played with Yoshimi at the
Fuji Rock
Festival. |
Yuka
Honda and the Small Circular Motions
played on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2002, in New York City. Yuka
opened for John Zorn Electric Masada at the tonic. She
was joined by Miho at the Show! Rumors are that the pair have been
writing music and hanging out together on a very imformal basis.
There are no plans for future Cibo Matto shows at this time.

length album from Yuka Honda in 2002. Yuka
formed a band called "Pom Pon". Pom
Pon played a live performance on New Year's Eve at the "Ipecac
Recording" Party in San Francisco at Slim's. |
