Along
the way all of their equipment was stolen along with the
truck carrying their equipemnt. They canceled one show in
Maryland as a result. Two nights later outfitted with everything
they could beg, borrow, or steal (ooops wrong word), they
went back out and continued the tour like gangbusters. Finally
the last show of the Luscious
Jackson tour was
cancelled due to a labor strike at the scheduled venue.
Cibo
Matto continued to tour as a headline act on a sizzling,
hot concert tour. In September and October, the band zig
zagged across the North American continent and returned
to many of the cities they had played over the summer. Finally
the band hit the west coast to play San Francisco and then
in Southern California at the "Coachella Valley Art and
Music Festival".
Die
Hard fans reported that the shows were the best that Cibo
Matto had performed yet. And the the band was only beginning
to gather steam. From
there they exited the country for a killer sold-out tour
of Japan! Out on the road the best just kept getting better.
